~Stall Photos from Rivers Meet Market~

Stacy @Sostacysews and Lexie @secretthimble and I have had a lovely day at Rivers Meet Market in May. We were pretty quick at setting up our 3-in-1 pop-up shop - all ready with 30 minutes to spare for our flasks of coffee and jubilee chocolate brownies...
I aimed for a red, white and blue theme including some jubilee union jack bunting on the gazebo.
Best-sellers of the day for me were candles, vintage fabric, brooches, vintage knitting patterns and bric-a-brac. Unfortunately my tea cosy, mug warmers, pincushion and bunny didn't sell...
Below - some of Lexie's cushions made from repurposed coffee sacks and embroidery hoops - available on www.etsy.com/shop/secretthimble
Some of Stacy's lovely bags (right of photo) and she had lots of cross-stitched badges and cards that will shortly be for sale at Vintage Rose in Selby, North Yorkshire       http://www.vintageroseselby.co.uk/

It's a shame the warm sun didn't show it's face but thankfully it didn't rain!

  1. so glad you had a lovely day. Your stall looks great and a leisurely flask & brownie before opening - so organised, I'd have still been flapping about so I'm very impressed!

  2. Good work! I am glad for the sales you made and hope your other lovely wares will soon sell. A friend and I set up a table at several craft fairs last fall in the Portland Oregon area. It was my first time and even though I sold very little I had a good time. Isn't it amazing to see all the creativity?

  3. Gorgeous stall photos! Thanks for sharing. I do like your idea of whipping out the flask & brownies before the show began! :-)

  4. Hi Sally, I think you're very organised and your stall looks brilliant, I love your friends coffee sack items.
Hey it's interesting what you found sold and what didn't, I'm taking that onboard for my craft fair in 2 weeks. I've had similar experience before where some of my 'makes' just didn't sell yet the fabric & raw materials where what people wanted to make their own.
Some great things in your pop up shop.

  5. Glad you had a good day, the stall looks fabulous. I've heard stall holders mention that things that didn't sell at one fair did really well at another, so you'll probably find the same.
